Excellent Stay in a Beautiful Hotel

friendly staff amazing food

I appreciated the efficient and friendly staff at reception. The dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were amazing, specifically the excellent food.

I noticed the carpets could use replacing or a deep cleaning. They appear old. This detracted slightly from the otherwise luxurious experience.

Mixed Feelings About This Stay

dirty cushions worn carpets

I was disappointed by the room's upkeep. The carpets showed wear, and the cushions looked dirty. This contrasted sharply with the hotel's communal areas, I found those nicely presented. The room fell short of a 5-star experience. It wasn't worth the money.

room upgrade premium room poor selection bad coffee

the staff asked for the reason of my visit. i told them it was a birthday. they upgraded my room. it was a Collection Premium Room City View.

when i called room service i was put through to london. the person was rude. they cut me off. the tea and coffee selection wasn't amazing too.

spacious room equipped room lovely view uneven wall tiles loose wooden tiles wrong door direction

The room was spacious and well equipped. I was pleased to have a lovely view from my room. The location is central and I found many things within walking distance.

The wall tiles in the spa were uneven and detaching from the wall. The wooden tiles along the pool's inner edge were loose. I noticed the doors in the fitting room facing the spa area opened in the wrong direction.
